Svaneke is a small town on the Danish island of Bornholm in the Baltic Sea. It is a very neat and friendly place willingly visited by tourists. Sailors arriving to the town have a well equipped marina at their disposal – there is access to bathrooms, laundry, drying room, kitchen and even a common room. In the immediate vicinity of the harbor there is Hotel Østersøen, housed in a historic merchant house. The skyline of the town is dominated by a dark pink church tower with a characteristic black spire on top of which there is the symbol is Svaneke – a swan.
