Frankfurt is a big city in Germany, located in the federal state of Hesse. It is situated on the River Main at the slopes of the Taunus mountain range. The city is dominated by modern skyscrapers, nevertheless, there are also many tourist attractions - cultural, commercial and entertaining. Frankfurt is the host of famous trade fairs: Consumer Goods Fair, Frankfurt Moto Show, Frankfurt Book Fair, technical and textile fairs. The city was destroyed during World War II and most of the older buildings were reconstructed. The city skyline can be admired from the observation deck situated in the 200-meter Main Tower.
