Evening panorama of Milwaukee (USA) online puzzle
Milwaukee, which is located in the northeastern part of the United States, has three founding fathers, who founded their own settlements in the area of today’s city in the 19th century. An interesting story is connected with the two of them - Solomon Juneau and Byron Kilbourn. They both established settlements located on the opposite banks of the river but they competed with each other to such an extent that they built roads that did not converge with those built by the opponent. For this reason, visitors to Milwaukee may still see the bridges built diagonally. In 1845 the residents of both towns fought against each other on one of the bridges. In result of that fight an agreement between the rivals was concluded and both parties started working together for the development of the city.
