Nine Dragons Wall in Beihai Park (China) online puzzle
Beihai Park is situated in the center of Beijing. There is a screen of nine dragons built in 1756. Such richly decorated walls with bas-reliefs, depicting mythological creatures, were often erected in the gardens and palaces of Chinese emperors. The dragon is an ancient symbol of luck and the empire, whereas number nine represents perfection. The Impressive size (5 meters high, 27 meters long) of the screen catches the eye from afar. It is made of colorful ceramic tiles and their intense color is contrasted by the figures of writhing dragons, which are elaborately ornamented. The wall is one of the major tourist attractions of the park, despite the passage of years it remains intact and for that reason it is willingly photographed.
