The Golden City of Jaisalmer (India) online puzzle
The beautiful city of Jaisalmer in the Indian state of Rajasthan is located in the Thar desert. The Golden Fort built in the 12th century is the main attraction of the city. The complex of defensive and temple buildings was built of yellow sandstone on the order of Maharajah Jaiswal. Near the fort there is artificial lake Gadisar, which can be accessed through the famous Tilon Ki Pol gate. Its construction - according to legend – was funded by a prostitute, she is also believed to fund here a temple of Krishna. The surface of the lake is dominated by domed temple pavilions.
