Town of Atrani on the Amalfi Coast (Italy) online puzzle
Atrani is a small town and commune in the province of Salerno in the Italian region of Campania, on the Amalfi Coast. Atrani is located on the river Dragone. Both residents and tourists may admire here beautiful landscapes, charming narrow streets, Mediterranean gardens and lemon fields. The panorama of the town is characteristic due to its buildings located directly on rocks, just by the sea line. It is worth visiting two churches in Atrani: San Salvatore del Birecto and Santa Maria Maddalena. Near Atrani, on the hill overooking the town, there is the fortress called dello Ziro and the Grotto of the Saints, which is a natural small cave with the walls decorated with Byzantine-style frescoes, dating from the 12th century.
