Windmills on the island of Mykonos (Greece) online puzzle
Mykonos is one of the Greek islands, part of the Cyclades on the Aegean Sea. The windmills that were built in the 16th century are the main tourist attraction of the island. There are several windmills on the island and one of them hosts a museum. Mykonos is dominated by snow-white houses with red elements, such as window shutters, doors and fences. Windmills are also painted white and red, however, they tower over the island with their conical thatched roofs. Mykonos is also well-known for ubiquitous pelicans and exceptional tolerance of its inhabitants – the island is willingly visited by homosexual people, celebrities and those who want to have fun in disco clubs.
