Rohan Castle in Alsace (France) online puzzle

Rohan Castle was built towards the end of the 18th century under the supervision of an architect Nicolas Salins de Montfort at the place of an old castle from the 15th century. The elevation of the building is 140 meters wide and was built of sand stone. In the past the fortress was considered to be a defensive one. Today it is a tourist attraction attracting many tourists to Alsace. The castle’s chambers are available for renting. Conferences, concerts, theatrical performances and other cultural events are often organized there. The Rohan Castle was also a setting of several feature and fairytale films. In 1933 the Rohan Castle was listed on the list of historic monuments by the French culture minister.
