Cala d'Hort beach is located on the west coast of the Spanish island of Ibiza in the town of Sant Antoni de Portmany. This 150-meter sand and gravel beach is surrounded by cliffs. The place is frequently visited by surfers and lovers of jet skis, yachts and motor boats. The biggest advantage of the beach is a magnificent view of the rock island of Es Verda which has a characteristic shape. The island – currently inhabited only by goats – is associated with numerous local legends. According to one of them, the ship of Odysseus landed on the shores of Es Verde, the other mentions the island as the birthplace of Hannibal, other stories relate to covens of witches, which were allegedly held at Es Verde.
