Jordan Park online puzzle
Jordan Park in Krakow was established on the initiative of Dr. Henryk Jordan in 1889. By 1914, 46 busts of famous Polish poets, scholars, writers and the park's creator had been placed in the Jordan Park. Similar gardens, following the example of Krakow, also began to be created in other cities: Jarosław, Lviv, Nowy Sącz, Tarnopol and Warsaw. They were called Jordanian gardens. During World War II, the park was devastated, and beautiful rows of hornbeams were destroyed. The busts of outstanding Poles were saved by Kazimierz Łuczywo by hiding them in his studio. Currently, there are 38 busts in the park. In the park there are: volleyball, football and basketball courts, a skate park, two playgrounds, a small pond, a sledge hill in winter, a concert shell and a catering facility. The park is one of the main walking places in Krakow.
