Town of Orebić on the Pelješac Peninsula (Croatia) online puzzle
The Croatian Pelješac Peninsula is located in southern Dalmatia and is frequently visited by tourists due to mild climate and the presence of gravelly and sandy beaches. Trstenica beach is the largest and most popular one. The beach is 1500 meters long and is considered to be the town’s attraction. The town itself is one of the 12 settlements that belong to the commune of Orebić. There are fragments of fortifications and buildings that can be associated with sailing traditions of that charming town: Palace of Sailors’ Association and Palace Sailors’ Museum. Two temples – Gospa od Angela church and the Franciscan monastery from the 15th century – tower over the town. Captains’ villas are situated just by the sea and are surrounded by lush vegetation.
