Electric commuter train (Russia) online puzzle
Electric traction units have their own electric drive. Vehicles of this type were produced for the first time in the late nineteenth century and the first of them was presented in Berlin during the industrial exhibition in 1879. An international train route Warsaw - Moscow was launched in the 1970s, it was served by the "Polonaise" train with an electric locomotive. Currently, commuter trains in Russia are colloquially called "elektrichkas" because most of them have an electric drive. In Moscow “elektrichkas” depart from Kurskaya railway station.
