Swedish car cemetery, which is an unusual tourist attraction, is located near the town of Ryd. This marshy land belonged to Ake Danielsson, who was engaged in mining of peat. Over time, the man began to buy up old cars in order to remove and then repair the working parts for sale. He left the car wrecks in the forest, where he managed to gather a real collection of vehicles from the 1940s and 1950s. Rusty cars perfectly blend in with the forest landscape, whereas the moss-covered chassis, windshield openings, tires "growing" out of grass as well asold bikes make Danielsson’s peat-bog a magical place.
