Shelves with old books online puzzle
Before the books, as we know them today, were created, important information was recorded on the tablets, engraved in stone, was written on papyrus of plant origin or on parchments obtained from the skins of animals, which were then stored in the form of rolls. Wooden framing, which unified parts of a longer text and at the same time protected them from damage, appeared in the late seventh century. For centuries, writing and printing books, as well as binding them represented not so much a craft but a form of art. Today, books are mass-produced, however, beautifully published volumes still have aesthetic value for their owners. It is very likely that paper books will be supplanted by electronic readers, but for now the traditional volumes are still published and read.
