Money can have various forms – paper (banknotes), coins and electronic one. Currencies of various countries have various names. For instance in Poland it is złoty, in the USA it is dollar, in Great Britain it is pound and in Japan it is yen. Every currency can be converted into another in accordance with the current rate of exchange, i.e. a current price of one currency expressed in another one. At present currency is a legal tender not only within the borders of one country, but also in the group of countries – as it is the case with the euro.
