Colorful fireworks on the night sky online puzzle
The first fireworks were used in China as early as in the 3rd century B.C., however, they were rather making some noise and did not have much in common with the ones we know today. During the reign of the Han dynasty, bamboo stalks were roasted in order to make some noise which was meant to scare off bad ghosts. When gunpowder was invented in the 9th century, the pyrotechnic technology was improved and proper fireworks were invented, which could explode colorfully on the sky. They were still used during religious ceremonies, while praying for prosperity and happiness. Today fireworks are used mostly for the show purposes and add splendor to the most important events. The view of exploding fireworks symbolizes festivity, the culmination of an undertaking, success and euphoria.
