British Museum has this late 16 c. Etching by adolf lautensack in their collection but not on display. Maximilian of Austria Laid the Siege to The City of Kraków After He Was Elected King of Poland by One Faction During The Sejm, While Sigismund III Vasa Had Been Eleted By The Other. With the Swede Having Yet to Reach The THEN Polish Capital, The Habsburg Tried to use this oporturnity to force his reign upon the Poles, but to no avail. The Citizens repelled the Attack, Commanded by Hetman Jan Zamoyski.
