Cereals, i.e. grains of crops such as wheat, rye, oats or barley, are one of the basic ingredients of our diet. They are mainly used to produce flour, which is then added to many food products, including bread and pasta, as well as such dishes as pies, pancakes or dumplings. We may buy tasty bread or rolls in the grocery store or bake them at home, it is the same with pasta and other noodles, which are prepared with the addition of eggs. It is worth using flour of a good quality: wholegrain, wholemeal or semolina produced from durum wheat.
