Los Glaciares (Argentina) online puzzle
Los Glaciares National Park in Santa Cruz province in the south of Patagonia was founded in 1945. It covers the areas around lakes of Viedma and Argentino in the eastern Andes. There are, among others, three large glaciers. The highest peak of the park is Mount Fitz Roy rising to 3,775 meters above sea level. The northern section of Los Glaciares is the realm of mountaineers and a place frequented by tourists who can stay in the nearby town of El Calafate. A large part of the park is, however, subject to strict protection.
